#LVPALMA

Last week I had the pleasure to attend an amazing trip with Louis Vuitton to Palma de Mallorca because of the anniversary of the store they have in the city in one of the most beautiful locations..in front of the awesome Cathedral!

What I want in this post is showing you my trip, like if you were there living what I lived and feeling what I felt trough my eyes.

My trip started here:

waiting to Adriana from Vuitton and the rest of my trip mates... Mike, Gaby and Angel!

When they arrived, we went to breakfast and after that

Let's go to MALLORCA! I remember was thinking about the weather in the city because I always been there in summer ha!

Upon landed, we met Cristina, and a car came to take us to the pretty hotel the brand reserved for us

Hotel III is a small Hotel in the centre of Palma, 5 mins walking from store and also, in front of Cathedral and La Almudaina

Here is myself , as usual, with another stupid face in my room haha

and in my room, before start our day in the city, I checked the fabulous passport Louis Vuitton made for us with all the details and plans we made during that fabulous day. Also we met Francesca, from Vuitton Milano!!!

1st stop: Cathedral and La Almudaina

I have been in Mallorca like 20 times and I never stayed in the city more than 30 min because I always went directly to some towns near the beach in the island.

Was a surprise to me discover how beautiful were both places and I wanna back soon with friends!

Inside La Almudaina, the guide told us she always calls a part of the visit " The 1Million photo" and this is why she calls it in this way

After visit some places more, we met Bolola, from Vuitton too and went to eating in a restaurant named MISA.

Was a delicious time and look at this dessert haha. YUMMY!

We decided take a coffee in other place very famous in the city named CAPPUCCINO

All types of coffees you can imagine are there and not only that.. the AWESOME space they have and how beautiful it is was a surprise to all of us!

Walking around the city, we went to the hotel before the party for relax and we decided take photos of the store before night comes.

ONE YEAR in the city and ONE YEAR full of success for everyone there and also for the brand, but this is something will tell you a bit later hehe

Back to Hotel, I opened my room and THERE WAS THIS

A fabulous present by Louis Vuitton! Was exciting and I have to say again.. THANKS!

18:45 pm..time to go to the party and FABRIZIO PLESSI was there waiting to explain why he started to work with Vuitton and also the essence of his art.

He is one of the most important artist in Italy, one of the most interesting people I've met before and a person who knows perfectly how express what he feels and you can taste what is telling you is his passion.

He lives in Venice and also in Mallorca, he made one of the most important bags for Vuitton, making possible the media world started to be a part of Fashion and the most important thing, he repeated and repeated:

" Vuitton not have to invest in culture because they are LOUIS VUITTON, but they consider art part of the essence and thanks to them I can express trough exhibitions and ideas what I have inside me "

After explained us lot of things more, he gift us a SPECTACULAR book where you can check one of his exhibitions and all the ideas, steps and final result.

Currently, he has in progress a museum in Italy which will be ready in the first part of 2012!

A bit later.. the cake arrived ha! AN ANNIVERSARY PARTY WITHOUT CAKE IS NOT A PARTY haha

and of course, all the guest had a mini version and I have to say.. IT WAS SPECTACULAR! The artist was one of the most amazing pastry cooks in the city who have a pastry since 300 years ago because of his family!

Around 10 pm, we went to dinner near the beach in a fabulous place named Caballito de Mar and after that, COCKTAILS time in Abaco

Abaco is a cocktail bar where nobody can take photos, but I took some of them hehe. I recommend you if you go to Palma should discover Abaco.. it is spectacular

The day after, we met for breakfast around 9:30 and then we went to take the Ensaïmadas we ordered the day before haha.

Delicious, you should taste how they are in Mallorca and buy some for your family haha!

To finish the amazing trip with Vuitton we took the car back to the airport and..

Here I come..!

BACK SOON

When my passion for FASHION started, I remember my mother always talking about John Galliano and his amazing work in Dior and his own brand.

Also, I remember one of the first shows I attended in Paris during Men's Fashion Week last summer 2010.. it was John Galliano and Charles Chaplin the main theme of the collection.

I'm not going to forget how amazing was him in the catwalk when the show finished and I wish he come back soon, because we have experimented the essence of FASHION in part for him.

Now, things have changed and although he is not there.. the essence is always at home and Spring/Summer 2012 is an example

The venue of the show was a success and of course models like Daphne Groeneveld a right bet

I don't wanna extend my opinion a lot because I think photos tell you more than the things I can express. One thing you should check is the hair style in the following photos!

Everyone know how important are accessories for a very good outfit right? for that, Galliano for Spring/Summer 2012 has created lot of them like hats and necklaces in lace in colors black and white and also pastel tones like blue.

Other very very important point in this collection are the spectacular fabrics they have used and also the shapes they created in each dress, each shirt, each skirt... I don't have words because the show was like attend a couture one and the collection can't have more quality..

This is special, it is art!

BUT I preferred not showing you more photos from show and bring you the chance of discover HOW CRAZY AND COOL was the backstage.

The moment after she was in the catwalk and you can see as big picture in this post, very cool!

MY HOUSE MY RULES MY PLEASURE

Everybody knowns this collection

Everybody will remember everything about this long campaign

and

Everybody have in mind how Versace was and how it is again.

A day before stores around the world started to sell the collection, I had the pleasure to discover each piece at the showroom that H&M has in Madrid.

Donatella has created a very Gianni Versace line, showing what people could taste a lot of years ago.

This collection have different ways and all of them, in my opinion, are a success.

Pins, leather, amazing prints, color and more color are signs of Versace for H&M.

Talking about the men part of this collection, I can say these pieces are like a dream to people who love feel how big is this industry.

My favorite piece is the awesome jacket with beautiful prints in both sleeves.. CRAZY!

Also was a surprise to me discover the underwear pieces! I didn't check the website before going to the showroom and was like...how fun!!

T-shirts with crocodiles and palms are pieces people wished to wear a month before they arrived to stores and the suit in black&White print with a geometric shapes like a visual effect, is perfect for a special date.

I think this shirt is absolutely amazing and like the Versace S/S 2012 collection for men, is a piece for people who know how to wear it!

About women part.. I only can say that everything is GORGEOUS!

Gold details in dresses, awesome jewelry, mini bags or shoes are main points for ladies!

They always have more things and more accessories than men and for that, Donatella has created what she considers are the best stuffs for those women who want to express who they are trough her creations

Talking about colors in this collection, you can find Pink, black, greens and lot of prints

Also a success pieces are the long dresses with pockets in back! The buttons are beautiful!

Maybe this skirt is one of my favorite pieces for women. It is simple, full of details, with frame full of Versace style and a visual effect when you are walking!

Before to finish I wanna show you the S/S 2012 collection H&M will launch during March-April 2012!

I have to say transparencies are a main point. Pastel colors and also neon ones are the protagonist and shoes like creepers the most cool I've seen in H&M never!

Look at this dress! I really really like it

Also you can find prints and laser cut in some pieces. I really like laser cut because it creates another shape and also fabrics may be heavy and at the same time, soft!
