Sebastien Mercier is a funny and sport man. He confessed his favorite sport is Soccer, he played high level two years in France.

He is a new face in three very important agencies in the fashion world who want to show him to everyone. He just might be one of the next top models.

sBt-A lot of people think of being a model, starting in this world.. but dont have clear how to start.. how and when did you do it?

SM- I want to be an actor but i start to do modeling for living,no it's a passion. If you want to be a model you have to send pics in the agency or to go directly in the agency. Me went directly.

I started 1 year ago :)

sBt- Sebastien, you live in paris, has that influenced you? Where would you like to work for some time?

SM- No because i'm not born in Paris. I live in paris since a year but i see that it's a city where fashion is "omnipresent". Where i would like working during a time,no hesitation NEW YORK AND LOS ANGELES!!! Soon i hope go to NY to live.

sBt-With which photographer, designer or model would you like to work?

SM- I like lot of photographers. I have the best experiences with MILAN VUKMIROVIC director and photographer of L'officiel HOMME,a famous magazine in Paris, and he is the stylist of Trussardi too. Very nice guy, very professional, i feel an osmose when im working with him. Alfredo Salazar is a photographer too and it's a good friend of me.

I want to work with lot of famous people in the fashion...Karl Lagerfeld for his personnality and of course his talent. John Galliano for his subversive creation, Jean Paul Gauthier for his fragrance,TRUSSARDI,DOMMENICO DOLCE,ARMANI,DIOR,KENZO,CHANEL...i want to work with everybody and to learn of all the artist of fashion. I love Bruce Weber as a photographer,for me i feel at home when the pics is in black and white lot of power and if you add a particular expression it's gorgeous!!!i'm in love with the black and white. Models..let me think.i like Garrett Neff, Baptiste Giabiconni and of course Mark Whalberg when he did the pics for Calvin klein i was a young guy and the photographer was Bruce Weber.

sBt- Do you have any proyects in mind for now or near future that make you special illusion? Wich?

SM- My project is to progress,just to progress. when i work it's so good to feel you do a thing better than yesterday.

I love lot of things like sport, arts, philosophy, spirituality...but i'm only focus in acting and modeling. I just to do a great work,the best work by progressing. It's my objective.

sBt- Catwalk or Editorials, advertising..? What do you like more? why?

SM- I think you can learn and progress in all the diversity in fashion. ALL things are interesting..i like all the different part of fashion.:)

If really i have to choose...editorial because you create more.

sBt- To finish Sebastien, Where would you like to get with your career as a model?

SM- I want to be great in my work,to do a quality work. I don't know if you see in my pics but i want to search an other point of view of fashion more theatrical,more CINEMA! with an impact,an emotion,a power. You have to see this and say WOW. For me some pics in fashion are flat,no taste and i want to create an impact an emotion it's very important for me,for the work,for the person who look the pictures,it's the most important.

Like he says, he wants to express another vision on photos and i think it is what Sebastian does. Elite ( Milano ), New Madison ( Paris ) and Sight ( Barcelona ) love him and bets by Mr Mercier.

One of his recent editorials " Mourning Morning " is by the fashion photographer Yannick Leconte. In a forest, b&w an amazing photographer and Sebastian.

Starred a campaign in Paris and Italy for the brand Paul & Betty. It was one of his first jobs few months ago....

El es Sebastien Mercier divertido y amante del deporte. Confiesa que su deporte estrella es el futbol, ya que ha jugado en alto nivel 2 años en Francia.

Nueva cara en tres agencias muy importantes en el mundo de la moda, quieren mostrar al que puede ser uno de los futuros top models.

Quieres descubrir mas sobre el? HECHO!! Disfrutar con la entrevista de Sebastien Mercier.

sBt. Mucha gente piensa en ser modelo, empezar en este mundo peor no tienen claro que han de hacer, tu, ¿ Como y cuando lo hiciste?

SM- Yo quiero ser actor pero empecé de modelo para vivir, no es mi pasión. Si quieres ser modelo tienes que enviar fotos a una agencia o ir directamente a ella. Yo fuí directamente. Empezé hace un año.

sBt- Sebastien, vivir en Paris, ¿ ha influenciado?

SM- No ya que yo no nací aquí. Vibo en parís desde hace un año y veo que es la ciudad donde la moda es onmipresente. Donde me gustaría trabajar sin dudarlo es en Nueva York y Los Angeles. Espero ir pronto a vivir a NY.

sBt- ¿ Con que fotografos, diseñadores, modelos te gustaría trabajar?

SM- Me gustan muchos fotógrafos. He tenido una de mis mejores experiencias con Milan Vukmirovic, director y fotógrafo de la tan famosa revista LÓfficiel Homme. tambien es estilista de Trussardi. Un gran tipo, muy profesional, me siento afortunado cuando trabajo con él. Alfredo salazar es un fotografo tambien y aparte gran amigo mio.

Quiero trabajar con toda la gente famosa del mundo de la moda. Karl lagerfeld por su personalidad y si increible talento. John Galliano por suespectacular creatividad, Jean paul Gaultier para sus fragancias, TRUSSARDI, DOMMENICO DOLCE, ARMANI, DIOR, KENZO, CHANEL.. quiero trabajar con todos u aprender de todos los artistas de la moda. Me encanta Bruce Weber como fotografo. Para mi es especial, siento en casa cuando veo sus fotos en B&N una fuerza especial. Es precioso. Amo las fotos en Blanco y Negro. Modelos.. dejame pensar... me gusta Garrett Neff, Baptiste Giabiconi y por supuesto Mark Whalberg cuando hizo las fotos para Calvin kelin y que yo era un canijo.... el fotógrafo fué Bruce Weber..

sBt- ¿ Tienes algún proyecto que te genere especial ilusión?

SM- Mi proyecto es progresar, solo progresar. Cuando trabajo es genial sentir que hace algo mejor que ayer. Me encantan los deportes, las artes, la filosofia el espiritualismo.. pero estoy totalmente enfocado a actuar y ser modelo. Solo quiero hacer un buen trabajo.. ese es mi objetivo.

sBt-¿ Desfiles, editoriales publicidad...? ¿ Que te gusta más?

SM- Yo creo que se puede aprender y progresar de todo en la moda. Todas las cosas son interesantes y me gustan una parte de cada una :)

Pero si he de elegir.. editoriales ya que puede crear más.

sBt- Para terminar Sebastien..¿ Donde te gustaría llegar con tu carrera?

SM- Quiero ser bueno en mi trabajo para hacerlo bien. No se si lo ves en mis fotos pero quiero buscar otro punto de vista en la moda, algo más teatral, mas CINEMATOGRAFICO.. con impacto, emoción, fuerza! Tienes que verlo y decir WOW! Para mi algunas fotos en la moda son sosas, sin gusto y yo quiero crear impacto y emiciones , es muy importante para mi, para mi trabajo...y para todas las personas que lo vean, que es lo más importante de todo.

Como Sebastien dice, otra vision es la que el quiere expresar en sus fotos. Elite ( Milano ) New Madison ( paris ) y Sight ( barcelona ) le adoran y apuestan fuertemente por el Sr Mercier.

Las sesiones de fotos es lo que más le gusta a Sebastien y los fotografos lo saben, por eso, cuentan con el para muchas de sus seisones. Klaus Roethliberger, Raphael Suite, Alfredo Salazar..
